At Dr P G V School, at this stage, learning practice is informal and is done through the play-way method using specially designed aids. This way of teaching has proven to develop an ever-lasting curiosity in children to keep learning while playing and interacting with peers/instructors. Preschool is the first step to transform into formal schooling and Dr P G V makes sure that this transition from informal learning at home to formal and disciplined learning at school is smooth for toddlers.
Pre-Nursery students learn alphabet and numbers through phonetics and music in an enjoyable atmosphere using interactive and multimedia techniques. The teaching-learning process is child-centric, activity based and imparted by playful methods to develop confidence, social skills, verbal abilities and motor skills in children.
Our spotlight is on literacy, numerals and environment around us. Traditional Montessori along with highly innovative teaching methods using Audio visual teaching aids, flash cards, story telling etc., play a vital role for strong foundation.
Celebrating colors, important days, festivals, impersonating legends, phonic challenges imparts knowledge with fun. Frequent competitions like story telling, singing, dancing, etc., showcases kids talent and ignites the competitive spirit in them.
PRIMARY YEARS PROGRAM (Grades 1 to 4)
We facilitate a smooth transition for our children from a playful pre-primary setting to a more structured environment by providing a positive and supportive atmosphere where learning is enjoyable. Alongside academics, we ensure a well-rounded education through dance and music classes, physical education, club activities, computer classes, and reading sessions, all integrated into the regular timetable. Each child is given opportunities to perform on stage during class assemblies. Educational field trips are organized to enhance their understanding of the world. Our primary department teachers are dedicated to preparing children compassionately and effectively for the future. Additional learning support is available for students who need it, with guidance provided by teachers after school hours.
MIDDLE YEARS PROGRAM (Grades 5 to 7)
The Middle School Department serves as a nurturing environment for the holistic development of students. This department focuses on addressing both academic and emotional needs while encouraging innovative and out-of-the-box thinking. Extracurricular activities, such as literature clubs, sports, art, and music, are actively promoted. Students engage in experiments and practical learning in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology laboratories. Regular assessments and feedback are provided promptly to support their growth.
HIGHER CLASS PROGRAM (Grades 8 to 10)

HIGHER SECONDARY CLASS PROGRAM (Grades 11 to 12)

Opportunities are available for students to identify their strengths and pursue an academic program tailored to their learning style. Advanced Curriculum Completion, Periodic Assessment Tests, Top Rank Achievement Programs, Mentor System, Special Tests and Additional Revision Exams are designed to help students excel in their board exams.
